Hi I am new to the restoration world, this will be my first project, just picked up a 1971 Ford Mustang Coupe 2dr Hardtop. The car has no motor or transmission and interior is in rough shape but i did some research and found out it did,at one point, have a 302 in it. I was just wondering if anyone could help me out on where i can find/buy any parts. I would like to keep the interior somewhat original, seats, dash, etc. If anyone has any info that could help me that would be really appreciated.

welcome to the forums.

why not start here in one of the 4 mustang magazines on this site..

there are mustang articles spread out over a bunch of the magazines here.

you may want to pick up copies of mustang monthly and mustangs and fast fords or muscle mustangs and fast fords.. there will be more directed ads in there for mustang suppliers..

oh.. take lots of pictures with a decent digital camera.. this way you have them to help you put it back together or to upload to an image hosting site like photobucket and then paste the links in a forum to ask questions..  click my user name for links to other magazines here.  even take videos and upload them to youtube
