any thoughts on weather i can mount a pulley on the cog that runs the hy-vo chain on a th425 trans in my 67 toronado, i want to mount an electric sprag like those on ac pumps or pto pumps, this pulley will run two rotrex superchargers mounted on custom brackets...i wanna run the electric sprag so can turn off the boost so my wife can drive the car aswell. what ya think will those hy-vo cogs accept another pulley...thanks for your help...

if you want to cut down the boost...  have a blow off valve.. that dumps from the pressure side of the supercharger back into the inlet pipe.. so it cannot build as much boost.. it just blows back into the inlet duct of the supercharger.

you might want to look at these videos from steve morris..

didnt like my answer from hot rod? think billet hub that bolts to the sprocket using longer bolts, and a modified chain housing.the hub will need a shaft to mount the pulley.as the man said the blowers will be controlled by trans shaft speed NOT crankshaft speed.he is also correct about the blow off valve.maybe you LIKE my hot rod post better now?
