with a little work and a few upgrades, can block 10114182 + Heads 10114156 = 500 HP/TQ? If so, how?
According to my source, your heades have 118cc chambers with 2.07/1.72 valves. I'm going to guess that your combo had about 8:1 compression from the factory. You need to raise the compression to at least 9.5:1 either with smaller chamber heads or domed pistons. Smaller chamber heads would be the optimal direction even though it is the more expensive route. If you buy new heads, get ones with at least 2.19/1.88 valves. If you go much over 10:1cr you'll have trouble tuning it to run on premium pump gas. After that cam and intake are all you need to get real close to your goal.I know, at least according to advertised dimensions, that the Weiand Stealth intake will fit late model oval port heads. IDK if an Edelbrock intake will fit. I'm not talking about bolting on, I'm refering to the size & shape of the ports in the intake matching the size & shape of the ports in the heads.
Is your block roller cam equipped from the factory? It makes a difference in the cam selection process.
