My Grandprix just ran a 14.09 at a 106.4mph. It has a 383 with Edelbrock heads, stage three Summit intake, and a single pattern can with 509lift, 108 lsa and 246 degrees of duration at fifty thou lift.  It has a th350 with a 3000 stall converter and 4.11 gears.  And just so you guys know twenty year old snow tires have terrible traction.

Need to know the vehicles weight to get a "close" estimate on HP. But my guess is due to the terrible traction, the numbers aren't going to be good enough to decently estimate HP anyways.  I'm running consistent bottom 13's at 106 in a 3,800lb car launching it softly for traction reasons.  I have one 12.95 at 108mph though.

The forum or something's adding that second bit.  But anyway's my car was weighting 3800lbs.  Those are fast times.  Which car was it in?

In my '77 Skylark.  The car "should" have a lower ET given the mph and weight, but my suspension isn't well set up for drag racing, my launch technique needs work and my shifting is relatively slow due to super long throws on the shifter (5-speed). Given your car's weight and mph, you should probably be capable of low 13's with the gearing you have and good tires.  I couldn't get my car into the 13's until I put drag radial's on it.  14.2 was the best I could get with regular street tires.  That's the suspension not working for me, as I know guys that can work over the suspension on a car to hook street tires into the 12's or so.

I'm thinking about getting slicks or drag radials and drag shocks.  But the tracks closed till May so I'm in no rush.  I'm hoping for mid twelves.  There's still alot of tuning to be done, and just from what I've seen at the test and tunes  Plus thats the weight with two big guys in it and and I trunk full of junk.  but I'll see.
