Sirs,I received my Feb 2013 copy today and was very happy to see the above was down to one page!Imagine my disappointment when i found the pages were stuck together (it is raining).I love the magazine and have been a long time subscriber (will continue to do so, regardless)but dump this stupid and juvenile BS from an otherwise great magazine. At least devote the space to more "On the Rack" if we can't have cars......Thanks,Ray Gasser72 Chevelle, 496 roller
no, keep them.
Ray, I don't think the guys from the magazine read this forum much, emailing them directly might have more effect. I had a problem with the mailman ripping mine so I called the post office, problem solved. Sounds like you need a new mailbox though.I like the cartoon. It is corny but its classic, unique, and the art is cool. I dig the rack feature also, but if I want to see tattooed or bearded ladies I'll go to the sideshow at the circus.
The art is cool sometimes could do with out the story. I will say though my 3 year old loves it and it gets him looking at the rest of the mag.
I like Krass & Bernie. But I was a regular CARtoons reader in the early 80s too.
I read cartoons too and I can't stand krass and bernie! It sucks so bad I can taste it! I say more on the rack, but lets see some different girls. You know what burns my butt is when Spike runs search and restore instead of the regular powerblock. I don't care if it's John Ramboo's car! I look forward to watching an engine build all week long and then instead they put on a build of some idiots ride. It just burns me up on so many levels, the whole point of hotroding is doing it yourself.
OK so What I personally like the Krass & Bernie, and anything George Trosley ( he did a drawing for me) but do not like the constant Bowtie stuff. But I know if all I want to read is Mopar I can get a different magazine , but I like this one. Skip the page it is on and read the rest and quit whining. The rest of us like it.
Where's the fun in that?
