1967 Ambassador factory 4-speed station wagon 990 ,maybe  only a few ever built this way !!!! " Da ' FREAK "  !!!!
I will be restoring this car to look like the artwork with vin# created by auto artist Danny Whitfield and enjoying it for many years. We will do the work at a friends restoration shop where we can stay in a low budget range and enjoy other muscle cars and great car peole . I have the right to show this artwork as they were for me and with vin# .
  Think about it!
A 1967 Ambassador Wagon with a factory installed 343 4bbl, 2.64 1st gear T-10 4 spd, 3.15 limited slip rear, dual exhaust, power disc brakes, quick ratio manual steering, front bench seat all in Barbados Blue paint with a dark blue interior.
There may have only been between 9 to 12, 1967 & 68 full size wagons built with the 343 4bbl 4 spd combo period. This may be the rarest Regular Production AMC ever built. Rarer than the 1969 ½ Hurst prepared SS AMX. or Hurst SC/Rambler !
  Book published in 1994,

Restoration to date,

Having fun with this one and can't wait to drive it like I used to drive my Hurst SC/Rambler.
    Thanks,
       Matt Wilson
        Phoenix,AZ.

I could put a old Rebel Machine hood scoop on DA FREAK,

Matt welcome aboard:

You give it hell. I never saw a 4 speed in a AMC wagon. I knew a guy that had a 1964 Ford Country Squire Wagon with an R-Code 427 4 speed. Where in the world did you find that? What you've done so far all I can say is GOOD LUCK.......

Remember it takes 8,460 bolts to build an automobile, and one nut to scatter it all over the highway.........Bob
