Well I need to rub this in - I purchased a 1968 Plymouth Satellite Convertible - running/driving on Saturday. Price? $2,000.00 in cash. Who says only magazine editors get good deals? Car is a 318 auto with 2.76 gears. Gold over green/gold interior. Best part? No rust in the floors. Surface rust in the trunk and it will need a quarter panel replaced - but it's a Vert.
I don't think I ever owned a Chrysler product car that never had water in the trunk. I only owned 4 over the years. They weak water and from where?????
Generally the water comes from rot on the bottom edge of the rear window - or a incorrectly installed trunk seal.
