Demonhater is the name I suggest for the project Dodge. If you name it what you suggested in the April issue after 42 years of reading CC, I'll unsuscribe. CC is my favorite mag., so please don't name it that.

Thanks Blushark

If they name it "Demonhater," I'll stamp my foot and hold my breath until I pass out . . . .

For truth-in-advertising purposes, they should name it The Old-Dodge-that-seldom-appears-in-CC-and-won't-have-any-hose-clamp-transmission-mounts-that-the-Freburger-fans-want-but-at-least-it-won't-be-defiled-with-a-Jeff-Smith-LS-engine-even-though-we-probably-won't-finish-it-anyway-Special.

I can't believe CC would even think about putting that name, from the April issue about the Dodge project car, in print. I would also cancel my subscription if that name should be used.  I have always looked forward to the arrival of CC and thought it to be much better than any other type or related magazine. I guess I better start thinking about a name for that project.

There is only one name that comes to mind - "Turd Whistle".

April issue? Hmmm? Perhaps there's an April fools joke in there . . . .

Please don't name your Demon project "Christ Puncher" I hate to see you lose readers that way. I have a few suggestions for it: Demonic 1 (Roman Numeral 1),
the Demon Within or the Demon Within Us, Inner Demon, Craftiness, or for Mopar haters maybe "Woking the Dog". I hope this gives you something to bounce off one another other than spit wads. Keep up the good work.

Dadgum, that IS a horrible name!   Not even good as an April Fools joke.  What were they thinking?

How about let's not name it anything with "puncher" in it.  Okay, I'd go for "LSPuncher" or "CamaroPuncher" or "Jeff . . . [Careful there 460 . . . you've been warned] . . . .

Maybe it was supposed to be "Rice Puncher" and a bad one got past the spell checker.   But then if that "Demon" is really "possessed" . . . .

Now that I think about it . . . I demand a retraction and an apology . . . a free three-year extension of my subscription ought to just about do it.

(I was holding out for a free "LESS"-killing, 650-h.p. 2013 Shelby GT500, but I'll put that demand on hold until CC does something really offensive and stupid (I mean a Johnny Hunkins-level bonehead play, like swapping a "LESS" V8 into a Ford . . . .))

"Pitch Fork" might work. From the sidewalk chalk, it looks like the paint is gonna be crazy looking. I might wait to pin a name on it until I saw all that. The "CC Demon" would suit me fine, but I reckon retro race cars are supposed to have a name.

"Pitchfork"  Hmmm?

Maybe in an updated '70s vibe, they could photoshop Jeff Smith into this for a hood wrap mural . . . .
