So sad I missed it last year..
This year, I'm going to try to make up for it by bringing one of my old cars and hopefully bringing a friend..
Any indication when we'll be cruising? Or, if you prefer, how long do I have to get my heaps up and running?

Hey Raj,,yeah,Ive been wondering too,,on when and where we may be going this year,I have a few things to care of on both/either of mine too,once we know something,I can decide which one to concentrate on.

I've been popping in here from time to time to watch for it too. It'll depend when it happens if I can go or not, but I'm certainly going to try!

Haven't made it since 07 AntiTour, T-shirt is getting faded, need a new one. Where and when? Galaxie is down for new heads etc., will bring 05 Mustang

I nominate starting the 2012 Anti Tour at the Justice Brothers World Headquarters and Museum in Duarte, CA. Freeway friendly at the 605 and 210 fwy junction: Justice Brothers It's a So Cal business for over 50 years, plenty of parking to get situated. Full of hot rods, car culture, and you will get a great tour from Ed Justice Jr himself.
It's near Angeles Crest Hwy,, San Gaberial Canyon, Gendora Mtn, or Mt Baldy. Even a good starting point to head east to Lake Arrowhead.

Can't wait for Anti Tour 2012 info. We are finishing paint on the Chevelle by the end of this mounth and then the new 496, turbo 400, gear vender goes in. Hopefully in time for the tour. Its an all new look and I'm excited about the tour being its maiden voyage.  The AV crew and I always have a great time on the Anti Tours. Thanks again Car Craft

I will always take a racing event over a lawn chair event, but the drive there and back was pretty cool. That's why if I make it I'll shoot for taking my Thunderbird. It hasn't left Ely since 2009? Been a long time since I took a road trip in it, and it's more car show material than my primer'd Buick.
Though last year when I was standing next to my Buick two guys were walking by when one did a double take and walked back to it saying "That's a real Buick engine, with EFI!". That right there made the whole thing worth it =D

Yes, the drive up there is sure nice, this is Car Craft not Street Rodder; supposed to be promoting getting in and using the car for which it was intended.
Maybe you should wash and vacuum your Buick once in a while. haha.
