If Buick were to ever come out with a retro GNX and/or GSX in the next 3 years, like they Chevrolet is doing with the Camaro, what engines would you expect to see or wish to see under the hood?

I would expect to see a:
1) GSX, N/A 454 LSX badged as a 455
2) GNX, Twin Turbo 454 LSX badged as a 455
3) GNX, Twin Turbo LFX V6

Wish? Eh, all GM has now is the LS V8s. Doubt they would ever consider an old school engine like the 455 ever again.

This day and age we are lucky to even get V8's due to government regulations. Odds are one would be a turbo six.

No love for the GNX/GSX! Figured with the retro Camaro selling like hot cakes that bringing back either the GNX or the GSX would be popular and put a bell in Government Motors ear to look into bringing them back.

No biggy . . .

I wouldn't mind seeing something in Buick that takes you back to the old look like they did with the Camaro.. Buick always was, at least in the old days one heck of a car, they rode great, durable, i had a couple Skylarks, If they would make a new one that resembles the old, i sure would hope they would have the look of the old ones. And a good engine to go with it.. I really think the turbo 6 is all we could hope for if they ever do something like that.. The 455 was a great engine!

The 2012 Dart coming out and the Super Bee for 2012, heck they don't resemble the old original ones at all.. Chrysler fiat, im thinking there becoming a joke. Just my 2 cents.. I love the old cars but naming them, and not resembling the old, whats the point! there riding on the originals name, just to sell cars. Id sure hate to see a 2012 Skylark that resembles a Kia, or something.

Buick is a great old brand, I for 1 would like to see something along the lines of the GSX, GS Stage 1 or 2 cars come back, maybe even a little retro styling, rear GS/GNX wing, hoods & wheels, maybe have a "455hp Stage III combo" the 455ci old style "Buick V-8 deal is far gone now"... Buick & Caddy have both come along ways in performance, I would think the engine would be the "old Chevy Vette engine stand by" like in the Caddy's if they were to ever even think of making a performance V-8 version...

Wouldn't Buick need a RWD platform before they could consider a GS-anything?  They're an import-fighting FWD brand now.  Not a lot of chance for any V8s under the coming 54.6 m.p.g. fuel economy standards.  Besides, both Cadillac and Chevrolet would strenuously object . . . .
