Ok I read the article. Found an 87 firebird donor car. The part numbers on rockauto transfer to to an 88 f body. However it does not have the cast iron bracket. It has the steal one. What year car can i find that bracket and can the stuff off of the 87 work on my 10 bolt?

I pulled the setup from a '96 Camaro, and they had the cast brackets. My rockauto search leads me to believe there is a pre- and post- 1993 caliper and rotor setup. The rotor mentioned in the parts list of the article is for a '93-'97 Camaro/Firebird.

My question is - Which bracket do I need for a '65 BOP axle? The BOP's have the bearings pressed on to the axle (no c-clips), and I feel like I will need the stamped bracket. But will an '88 stamped bracket (bolt spacing) work with a '96 caliper?

The article says nothing about the BOP setup and the need to replace the bearings in order for the bracket to mount outside the axle retaining plate.

I hope I can make this work! Have any BOP guys tried this setup?
