Mine also has the numbers 417754 RH on the bottom exhaust manifold on the passenger's side ... is that where yours is? Email me at email@example.com Thanks!Rick
Oldsmobile engine ID; behind the timing cover, to the right of the oil filler tube, is a series of casting numbers and a larger number or letter. Head ID is even easier; at the front of the left head or rear of the right head is a large number or letter. HEADS; number identifies sb heads, letter identifies bb heads.Block: 2=3502A=2602B=2603B=350 w/windowed mains...lighter,weaker block4A=4034B=4035A=3076A=3077A=307 w/roller camD=dieselDX=diesel w/roller camHeads:SBO;5=350--68cc5A=350--68cc6=350--70cc7=350--69cc8=350--79cc10=260--57cc2A=260--57cc3A=350--75cc4A=403--83cc5A=307--67cc6A=307--64cc7A=307--64ccBBO;all, 72-80ccA-JJ=junkE=next to junkC=reportedly best flowing factory BBO headsall others are fairly close to same flow numbers, or so says referencereferenced from Joe Mondello's tech manual & Bill Travato's book "How to Build Max-Performance Oldsmobile V-8s"
