hi i have a 94 cadillac sts and i was coming home from work when black smoke started to come out the dash. does anyone know what the problem is, i would really appreciate it.

Developed a smoke leak.
The Silver Buick- '77 Skylark coupe w/ a Fuel Injected Buick 455&TKO-600, '72 Centurion Conv't - 455w/TH400, '67 T-bird 4Dr (suicide) w/428&C6. '69 Firebird replaced!

those models are well protected by fusible links.....

what does not work...  

it is really time for a professional to look at that one...    there are JUST so many systems on a caddyshack..

now...  if you want to dive into it.. after you find the circuit that burned...  before you fix it...  you have to find out why it burned...  something shorted out..   something grounded out..

do not replace any fusible links except with the exact same size...  and again not until you figure out what caused the smoke to happen...

does your car have the heads up display????  the one that reflects off a small reflector on the lower part of the windshield..
