I only watched the beginning, but the car reminded me of an episode of "Top Gear" I watched, where they tested a Tesla electric car- basically an electric version of a Lotus Elise. The Tesla was actually faster in a drag race than the gas-powered Elise, but the weight of the batteries destroyed the weight distribution and handling of the Tesla.

kinda like the nuke powered airplane Lockheed developed in the 60's it worked but was a bit heavy due to shielding around the reactor I think they have perfected the design now and fly them out in the desert-at night-in secret-and changed the shape a little.

We need to perfect that technology so we can make nuclear powered cars.

Here is something interesting, anyone ever done this?

Dark Side of the Rainbow - Wizard of Oz with the Music of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon

PINK FLOYD REACT TO URBAN LEGEND OF DARK SIDE OF OZ

Timeline:
1939 release of "The Wizard of Oz"
1973  Pink Floyd's release of "Darkside Of The Moon"
1982 four companies announced the development of the first system for the recently developed compact disc audio medium
1984 The album was released by EMI on the then-new compact disc format

All this had to happen for it to work????????????Weird huh????

1939 release of "The Wizard of Oz" - Pink Floyd didn't exists.
1973  Pink Floyd's release of "Darkside Of The Moon" - CD format didn't exists
1984 The album was released by EMI on the then-new compact disc format - First time you could play side one and two and repeat it over and over again making Dark Side of Oz and Dark Side of the Rainbow possible.

"Dark Side of the Rainbow" is a phenomena that occurs when a person listens to Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon while watching The Wizard of Oz. There are many noticeable correlations between the lyrics of the music and the events in the film.

What's weird is if it syncs up on the first playing it could be said it was done on purpose, but it sync up on all three times the album plays-weird????
One of the more noticeable sync is on the second playing of the album
93) "said the man with the gun" - Notice that the Scarecrow has a gun.

for all of you looking for evidence that Pink Floyd's 1973 release of "Dark Side Of The Moon" and the 1939 release of "The Wizard of Oz" have some kind of a connection. This connection is the fact that you can watch "The Wizard of Oz" and listen to the CD "Dark Side Of The Moon" and notice that they are synchronized. What we mean by this is that if you start the CD at the MGM Lion logo screen you will notice that the music on the CD matches perfectly with the things that are going on in the movie. Beats and guitars match almost every movement of the characters in some parts. Music shifts to different moods while the movie follows along perfectly. As soon as something exicting or dramatic happens to the character's, the music's mood shifts to match the scene so perfectly that it's almost scary. While the musical matches are not too easy to fully pick up the first couple times you view the "sync", you will definitely notice the lyrical matches. The lyrics of "Dark Side Of The Moon" play the most important part of this whole connection. Alot of the lyrics actually seem to cue the characters to make actions in most parts. For example: the lyric "leave, but don't leave me" is sung just as Auntie Em motions to Dorothy to go away because she is busy.As Dorothy is leaving, the lyric "look around" is sung just before Dorothy looks back at Auntie Em. Sometimes the lyrics narrate the storyline of the "Wizard Of Oz". As crazy as it may seem, it's almost as if Pink Floyd wrote and composed this album to go along with the "Wizard Of Oz".

First off, you must have the CD version of "Dark Side of the Moon" or this will not work. Set your CD player on repeat so that the CD repeats itself when it is over. That's right, the CD plays a total of 3 times before the movie's end, matching up all the way through! Next put "The Wizard of Oz"in your VCR and get ready to push play on the CD player just as the MGM Lion roars for the third time. You have to make sure you get it exactly right or some of the enjoyment will be lost. Some CD players have a delayed starting time so you might have to experiment around to determine the correct starting point for your player. Try pausing the the CD at "0:00" on track one and simply press unpause at the third lion roar.

We suggest that you watch this without our list first and discover the evidence for yourself, then check back here for all the stuff you may have missed and watch it again. Be sure to add this page to your favorites. We also recommend printing this list out so you will be ready for everything that happens and when it happens.
