Does anyone out there know about anyone building a Chevrolet 302 in Fresno California in 1958. Or does anyone know of roller cam set-ups for the 283 in 1958?

i have heard of guys back in the day boring the 283 blocks .125 to come up with what everyone called a 301...roller cams i'm not so sure of

i have heard of a few advanced folks installing roller lifters from early diesel motors where they were available..
