Did Olds put any W motors in any cutlass convertibles other than 442's? I have a 69 Cutlass S convertible with a 350 4bbl motor. As far as I can tell it's a 350 Rocket, but how else would I know?

Back then anything is possible, just tough to prove as original these days. Pretty much have to get head and block casting numbers, and that could possibly answer what type of engine it is.
- The Silver Buick- '77 Skylark coupe w/ a Fuel Injected Buick 455&TKO-600, '72 Centurion Conv't - 455w/TH400, '67 T-bird 4Dr (suicide) w/428&C6. Needing to replace a '69 Firebird 400.

Yes, It was common place for Olds tobut 350 4 bbl engines in any of there cars if you paid for it. That dose not mean it is a W motor. It was a 350 4bbl motor only.
Good luck

And in 1970 they also had aluminum intake manifolds.
There are no special numbers on the block or heads to differentiate them from "standard" engines though. The ONLY way to prove an engine is a "W" engine is to have the build sheet for the car showing the W30/W31 code on it and the corresponding number stamped onto the machined pad on the engine under the #1 spark plug.
