Originally automatic 351 Cleveland 1973 Gran Torino Sport.  I want to replace the C-6 with a manual.  The 351 bolt pattern shoulf be the same as a 302 so the T-5 should bolt up.  I don't know if the drive shaft would need to be shortened or lengthened.  Does anybody make the hardware for the pedals for this swap?

I'm in the midst of doing exactly that. The biggest issue is locating pedals...they are VERY expensive. I've seen pedal hangers and pedals going for $1000 on eBay.

I, therefore, chose to build my own. The pedals themselves are unknown. I modified the pedal hanger from the automatic. Next up is clutch actuation. Since the cowl hangs so low on the 72-79 intermediates, a cable is not really an option. I chose a hydraulic clutch...but since the clutch master cylinder needs to go right under the power brake booster; I swapped it to hydro-boost from a 78 Lincoln.

It took me 2 months to mock this up in a  junk parts car. You must be dedicated to rowing gears to do this...otherwise an AOD is a simpler overdrive.
