My neighbor has a '59 nomad and when he starts it, it sounds amazing. I know he got new headers, but what else could he have to make it sound so hot? I mean besides those stupid, cheap mufflers you see on hondas... Thanks for imput.

he could have put cut outs in the exhaust. he can choose when he wants to open them. are you sure he has mufflers? he might not of put them on yet if he just got nem headers. or maybe he cut the pipes off right after the muffs or headers.

Cam specs, compression ratio, and exhaust model will all change the sound of a car.

huge lift cam, ported and polished heads, gear drive(love the sound), flowmasters, high end headers, and big free flowing exhaust are my recipe for sound greatness
