I have an idea for the How-to section of Car Craft. I'd like to see converting a LT1 intake to a GEN I car. People do it on the internet, but it seems to be something everyone can do on their own. The whole MAP vs MAF, and pieces involved. How to tackle drilling the distributor hole, and add the thermostate? I think it would be a great article, many can benifit from. The guy online that used to sell them already done is no longer do it, so its on your own, and with the large amount of LT1 intakes and their low price on the market, this would be a even better, cheaper upgrade for GenI carb cars. a before after dyno would be too much?
What does everyone think?

Given that CC is supported in part by intake manifold companies and not by "midnight auto supply" goons fencing junk LT1 intakes on eBay, the prospects for such a story appear dim.
Besides, there might be a reason why the "guy online that used to sell them" went out of business.
And the runner length on the LT1 manifold is way too short anyhow. Why waste any time with it?
