Im looking for info on pontiac 3a heads, I have a pontiac 350, I cant find the casting number, it has 3a heads. any info would be greatly appreciated.

The reason you can not fined info on the 3A heads is that there are no 3A Pontiac heads.
Are you sure it is a Pontiac engine the casting number you need is on the center exhaust port of the head if it is a true pontiac engine.

Just found some info the 3A code is oldsmobile and is a 8:1CR 350 and has 75CC combustion chambers.

Pontiac never had 3A castings only oldsmobile. How about posting a picture of the engine and heads.

Where do you put oil in the engine? In the valve cover or in a fill tube at the front of the engine?
- The Silver Buick- '77 Skylark coupe w/ a Fuel Injected Buick 455&TKO-600, '72 Centurion Conv't - 455w/TH400, '67 T-bird 4Dr (suicide) w/428&C6. Needing to replace a '69 Firebird 400.
