That's funny. When you get all or most of your info out of a book that does not make you a engine builder or mechanic it makes you a reader there is nothing like hands on and real world experience.

Theres a big difference between reading how to build engines and actually doing it. He trys talking over peoples heads when he doesnt know either. If he knew how to relate what he was reading to his experiences he could put it in simple language.

he's like my current physics professor...not so much concerned with sharing or teaching the knowledge but rather his agenda is to make you realize that he is so much smarter than you are and he can prove it by assigning homework that requires more information than what was given in the lecture...pompous prick

P-2 I agree he probably has no hands on experience at all. Ya he's deleted a few of my post as well just because he did not agree with the info I gave but at the end I was right and then he threaten the other guy with a do not piss off the moderator and that is from a guy who recommended a .575lift solid lifter cam for a guy that wanted to run low 13's to high 12's the poster went with the setup I mentioned and posted back that he ran high 12"s in the 1/4 mile he was very happy with the info and that is what it is all about helping people and giving good real world info it was simple not hard like he try's to make it. Anytime you need help just ask.
