How can i identify an olds 350 from the junkyard so i don't buy the wrong engine?   does any body know the block numbers or anything i can use?

hi it will have 350 in large numbers on both sides of block.

not always true,  I know everything '77 and after does, not sure about '73-'76, I have a '72 350 with no casting numbers on either side of the block, kinda like the 455
