The Dick Teague 1st Trophy prototype is now done. It's only in silver for right now and they will be painted in the American Racing colors of Red White and Blue. It's only a few weeks away until we meet up for our first all AMC car show. I'm really looking forward in meeting up with all of you. I have funded this entire project and I am sorry to say that, Do to cost restraints and timing, I was only able to produce 5 of these originals for the show. Time has always been a 4 letter dirty word for me. There just isn't enough of it so please forgive me for not being able to  produce all 10. These are all Signed, Numbered, Hand finished, Painted and sit on a piece of black granite. Thank you for your understanding

Sincerely
JWTeague

Along with building the AMX 4 I am also building the Dick Teague Trophy award models as well. The Trophies are coming 1 by 1. These next few photos show the process of how they get built. I started with a sketch and developed it into CAD. From there I had it milled out and then made a rubber mold for casting a fast cast polyurethane that takes about 10 min of setting up time. Still take a bit of work to get them ready for paint however it dose save a boat load of time getting them done this way. The cost for the materials together is just under $200.00. (rubber and polyurethane mixers) All these trophies will be Signed, dated and numbered and finished with a slate stone base, All you have to do is bring your AMC and see if you can win one of these limited number signed Teague originals
