hi,i just paint my jeep ( first time )i use basecoat,clear coat my question is
i hade some orange peel in the basecoat (3 coat of base)then i aply 2 coat of clear on top just to protect the basecoat.now if i sand the clearcoat with 1500 grit will all the orange peel will go away then clear it back with 2 more coat of clear then sand again will that be good to get a smooth finish??

This is why I like my cars in primer black, cause when it needs a touch up... pull out the trusty ol' spray bomb.

If the orange peel is in the base coat then the only way to fix it is repaint it.
If the orange peel is in the clear then you can wet sand and buff it.
