stuck door

The passenger door on my 78 pontiac phoenix will not open. some jerk i used to be friends with slammed it and it never opened again,i took the interior pannel off the inside and hosed the door lock/latch down with wd-40, didn't help. any suggestions.

are u sure its the door lock ? i got my door caught shut from a seat belt took me 5 friends and myself 2 get it open. power or manual locks?

sounds like it may have locked when it was slammed. i`ve seen it happen , most of the time its from worn hinge pins and bushings. this caused the long door to sag and wear the latch assembly.

ya im sure its the lock, i had it get stuck with the seatbelt once before, they're manual locks.

both my project nova locks are like that take the door panel off with a screw driver and a flash light u should be abole 2 trip it
