I have a 87 Buick Regal with a 305. Can anyone tell me what i need to swap in a cchevy 350.
you will need a adapter plate for the BOP transmission, which stands for buick olds pontiac to adapt the 350 to the trans, motor mounts should be the same. Build a NASTY small block too, throw on a set of vortec heads (96 and newer) and run 9.5:1 and make a sleeper out of it. the radiator should work just adapt the radiator hoses to the small block. good luck
if this is a 305 chev motor it will be a easy bolt in, no adapter needed. brackets will work, lots of exhaust headers to choose. i agree use the easy to find vortec heads, slight machine work they breath good.
Hi, i have a question, i just pulled my v-6 3.8 out of my 84 regal and have a chevy 350 ready to go in it, the only questions that i have are do i need to use monte carlo 350 springs for the car or do i use the regal 307 springs? I would just do the monte carlo but the regal ones have more free air height then the monte carlos but the monte carlo also has thicker in diameter springs. My issue is that i have 22" rims to put in it and i understand the motor is heavier so it will sit lower but i just need to know what will have the front end sit higher. Also do i use the monte carlo motor mounts or is their a alternative?Thank you
Any gen1 sbc mounts will work. You could also use the springs for a regal with a 305 sbc.

you will be good with the stock springs
