I'm an idiot. I missed it. I marked the wrong date on the calendar. I can't believe it. But the one thing I don't get is after realizing it I double checked and most of the websites that I go to for car show info hadn't even listed the show. I'm in parts stores one or two times a week. No banners or parts guys all pumped up about it. These shows have something for just about everybody. Yet, the street rod guys don't even acknowlege it. The back to the '50's guys act like it's the equivalent of the plague of car shows. I'm talking in general and concerning some of the websites specific. I've just bought $1000's of dollars worth of parts from QA1 through Jegs and had phone and email contact with both. No mention of come on down and talk to us at the show. No coupons or discount tickets offered. I'm 40 miles away and I missed it. I'm sure there was TV coverage but I didn't see it. I feel like crap. I'm mad at myself and anyone else I can point a finger at (at least I'm honest about that part). How about a little more promotion in the future? I guess everybody must be making enough money and they're just too busy to care. I'll try to learn how to use a calendar by next year.
Thanks for reading, Tim

I heard several radio spots for the show. I think advance discount tickets were available as well.
I don't think QA1 gets any of your information if you ordered their stuff through Jeg's.
I wish somebody else other than GM would be the major sponsor of the show. Getting real tired of seeing them there year after year.
