I was wondering if anybody would be able to give me a ballpark estimate as to what it would cost to modernize a late eighties jeep wagoneer?  I'm talkin modern suspension, new fuel efficient (fuel sipping?) engine, new modern interior, audio, power windows/locks, the whole shebang.  Basically leaving nothing but the jeep body. Not tricking out necessarily, just revamping.  Any ideas?

not enough info....     2 wd 4 wd... exactly which year... which motor do you have now...???

why not post it over at

http://forums.jpmagazine.com/active-posts/index.html         that is the jeep magazine... they may have even done it in the tech section...

there are a lot of custom shops that can do it... but you are talking major systems redesign...

oh i don't actually own one at the moment, i've just always loved the beach-style woody kinda vibe.  i was wondering if it was at all reasonable to buy one for $4000-$5000 and have it redesigned.  could i have that done with reasonable parts for $20,000, not including vehicle cost?
