Okay....

I MUST be the only one to ever do this....seems????no one can answer the question.

Okay I have a 67 coupe. It now has a 91 5.0 and it's matching AOD! Many folks have tried helping....and that help is greatly appreciated!

Today I attempted a search to avoid making this post because I didn't want to OFFEND folks who have seen many post like this before. SO I searched.....1 hour and 17 pages later....no answer to the following question.......

What long tube OR Tri-Y headers will clear an AOD ....or c-6 tranny??? OH I'm using a stock 91 5.0 and stock heads, in the 67.

Keep in mind I've called Hedman, Hooker, and MULTIPLE Mustang shops....guess what their answers were????
"Try it and see if it works"
"Get on a Mustang Forum and ask them" (I had to laugh because they are suppose to be the professionals)

SO I respectfully ask ....does anyone have a 67-8 with an AOD with headers???? I looked at the conversion article here but did not see them address a c6 or AOD in their project.

I have a 67 with a 5.0 and an AOD trans.   Since I used rack and pinion steering, I went with a set of shorty headers.
I read an article in Mustang And Fords Magazine ( this was several years ago )where they used an AOD and long tube headers...I think the headers were Hedmans.  Perhaps you could search their site and find the article.
 Hope this helps you,   JP.
