Hyundai Sonata Lawsuit

Hi All --
I work with a law firm that's filed suit against Hyundai regarding 1999 to 2004 models of the Sonata. The suit claims Hyundai failed to warn customers that the sub-frame lacks corrosion protection and owners are experiencing premature decay. Corrosion issues can lead to dangerous conditions if a car fails while in use.
For those of you who may not know, the sub-frame sits under the engine between the front wheels, serves as the sole steering support for the Sonata and and anchors the front suspension.
If you are a Sonata owner, you can contact the law firm to join or learn more about this case. Please visit www.hbsslaw.com/hyundaisonata. You can also call (602) 840-5900.

since we (users of this site) all know where the subframe is AND its purpose, we might take one of those lawsuit files to knock the rust off and add our own corrosion protection...cause as car crafters we've learned that the factory stuff wears over time
of course none of us on this site would be caught dead in a Pyundai
send those bombs back to korea

I dont know man, I'm really intersted to see who the first person to put an LSX in a Hyundai Genisis is..
I'd love to.
To make fun of an Import really, is to make fun of a Pinto...same class of car, just newer model year, and Pintos are lame is SBFs in themm,NOT!... just remember that.

for sure they are throw-away cars, but for what ever reason people want to keep them forever. salt and calcium have a feast on them. i have seen this problem in my shop, painting them will not help,it has junk steel, the stuff just crumbles. maybe we will restore these on 30 years. lol
