lOOKING TO REPLACE THE 5-SPEED IN MY 3RD GEN FIREBIRD. I put a mild 350 in it, hence the need to put a new 5-speed. Does anyone know of another manual I can swap in that's a little bit stronger or what other cars/trucks should I be looking at to get another 5-speed out of? I have the all the stock pieces and I don't mind doing a little fabrication, someone said a world class t-5 out of a mustang will work. but i don't have any other info on it. Thanks for the help guys.
