I hauled a 1966 Dodge Coronet 440 behind the house. It's a basket case at best. It's a 318 car with original motor and trans so that mess is going bye bye for something a little meaner. My question is for you body guys. I am a powertrain guy, and not experienced at all with body work. Am I going to want to kill myself if I start this project? We are talking quarters, rockers, floor pan, trunk etc. I am thinking either a 5.7 or 6.1 with a six speed behind it with a good air ride suspension. That part I think I can handle. But the body work has me extremely nervous. It doesn't have to be laser straight or concourse but just decent with some acceptable paint. Am I biting off more than I can chew?

Not really - if you can weld semi-decent you should be fine. Just measure and be careful with it all.
As far as the 5.7 or 6.1 I agree... I am swapping a 6.1 into my 68 Charger and it is a killer swap. I have a 66 Satellite convertible I am planning on a 5.7 for it...
