So I have been provided with great information regarding different types of media blasting for my 1983 Trans Am. So say i would go with the baking soda. could someone give me the proper chain of events to the order of operations. I'm thinking I should Get it media blasted, then primed then sent to the body shop for body repair, then primed again then painted. keep in mind there is water proofing sealent where metal overlaps. it may come off when it goes through blasting but i'm not sure. Also I need to move the car. it is totally disassembled is it safe to lift it by the frame rails to move it? do i have to worry about twisting of the frame? If any one can think any other helpful tips on restoring unibody frames please help.
