I have a 383 stroker and a 700r4 trans. I want to install in a 82 el camino with a v6.
Will this bolt up or will there be any modifications for the motor mounts? Is there enough room at the fire wall for the distributor?Looks tight in the engine compartment.
Also wondering about the driveline, will it need to be lengthened or shortened?

That Elky had a 305 option, so fitting your 383 in there will be no problem once you change the motor mounts and move the trans crossmember to the V-8 position.
