This one is far from stock, and not just the wheels are changed. 11.035 @ 121 and I think it has about 4 tenths better in it
I just put the stripes on last week. They came out ok for my first stab at it. Actually, I built the whole car myself and the single stage enamel buffed out ok even though there were bugs n dirt in it. Painted it in my garage which is only one step better then outside.
Take a look...

What do you guys think?

I think you need an angle arc stenciled on just below the leading edge of the stripe- you can then gauge your angle of attack on launch. Heh. Sharp Gremmie.

Some bugs have very high recorded velocities- don't know about helping your E.T.'s but you top end could get a boost with a few more flying insects in your paint!

Steve
PS they must be stealth bugs because that is a sweet looking paint job

Your car makes me drool! I have always had a thing for Gremlins. Actually, I have a thing for AMC products period. (In fact, my daily driver is an '86 Eagle 4X4 wagon.) I would love to build a pre-73 Gremmie for fun. Have an idea to put a 500 cid Caddy motor into it, just for something different. Keep us all posted on how the car comes along.
