Posted earlier about the better heads New question have a chance to purchace a set of 601 (casting #) heads pocket ported with 202, 160 valves with 58 cc chambers. would this put my cr to high to run on 93 octane and how much more hp would this give me over the 450 casting that i refured to earlier in the other post. 350 4 bolt 30 over 4v flat top pistons thumper hyd flat tappet cam elderbrock rpm manifold with edelbrock 600 cfm carb

flat top pistons and 58cc chambers will give you 10.5:1CR. but I think with 2.02/1.60 valves they have to make the chamber alittle larger so the bigger valves fit.

The chambers have been enlarged to 60cc Will this combo still be ok on 93 octane and what hp do you think this might make

you will have a 10:1CR with that set up and a felpro head gasket p#fel-7733pt2 which will be fine on 93 octane. As far as how much horse power you should have around 375HP.
