Ok, my fiance today was driving her car from work, when she was slowing down to let a car pass. When she tried to speed back up the car did not accelerate, she stopped the car put it in park, put it back in drive and did not move. She put it back in park then tried reverse, also did not move.  Tried the Overdrive gears still nothing.  Car revs up just fine but fails to move forward or backwards.  Any kind of opinion as to what is wrong please let me know.

Thank you very much

i know that this is sort of out of the normal questions.. but.. did you check the fluid... see if it leaked out via a bad line?????   hole in the pan... was is slipping at alL???

there are so many things it could be... and those need to be rebuilt by some one who is familiar with how to do it properly..

the reason i ask.. is i have had the plastic latches that hold the tranny lines into the connectors pop out...    some had the safety latches in stalled.. i am not sure about the 2004...

best of luck....
