I have a 1967 mustang that has been in storage for a few years. Got the car up and running and drove for a couple days. Now when I go to start the car all I hear is one click sound that comes from the voltage regulator in the front of the car. Is the regulator bad or is there anythig other than this that could cause the car not to start? Any suggestons would be very helpful!! thanks Dennis

that happened to me,,wat i would do is give it a jump and if that doesnt work clean the connects that connect the battery to the wires..or if that doesnt work i would take your starter to an auto place that can see if it still works well

You sure it's the regulator and not the starter solenoid? And odds are it's a low charge or bad battery.
