i put a 95 350 in my 83 camaro and got a flyweel for a 95 motor but its too thick so the clutch stays engauged. the bolt pattern (from crank to flyweel) on the 305 crankshaft is different from the 350 crank and i was woundering if it is like that on all motors?

That sounds pretty odd, even when they changed to one-piece rear main seals in '87, the circular bolt pattern on the crankshaft flange never changed.
Anyway, what you're probably gonna have to do is call a flywheel company, tell them what you've got, and see what they recommend.

when i took the 305 out and put the 350 in, the hole in the middle of the flyweel was bigger than the bolt pattern of the crank of the 350. i went to napa and ordered a flyweel for a 95 350 motor but the one i got was thicker than the old one so when i put it in the clutch would be engauged ofter letting off the clutch.
