what is a good build for a short block 305? i'm not looking to race it just drive it for work/school(while building up the 355-free labor at school). my thoughts were toward an edelbrock performer top end with an optional vortec heads/intake. also anyone know how to contact PAW? and there was a company that had the body kits for g-bodys(not choo-choo) and i cant remember their name or address

I would rebuild 305 stock with mild cam and save your money for your 355. 600 cfm edlebrock performer can be reused on 355 and still be sufficient for power.

I would use flat top pistons with the rebuild kit www.northernautoparts.com they have some upgrades as well how much power are you looking for let me know and I can recomend parts to get you there.
