I've got a '90 T-Bird with a dead 3.8 in it . I would like to put a 5.0 in its place and have some fun . I've read some of the build ups that ya'll have done onthe 302 and need to know if Ii could put one in my car and keep the tranny that i have in it ( I just had it rebuilt right before the motor stopped ) . Please I'm on new ground here as I've never done this type of project . Thanks  

You'll probably have to swap out the trans too, but if you're pulling a 5.0 out of a yard, just pull the trans with it.

Since the '90 had a 5.0L from the factory, doing the swap isn't hard.
