kinda intermittent problem with preformance it will run great for a while then randomly you'll lose power kinda like if a fuel filter was clogged i already checked and replaced it, it happens most often just above 2200rpms and cruise there such as highway speed ,, it hasn't died out compleatly or stranded me yet but it loses power till the rpm comes down alil then its back to running fine till u wind it up again.
i put a new filter on it yesterday and someone said i might have got bad gas so i thought about it and rememberd i got a full tank from a unknown valero store so i empied the tank into my lawnmower gas cans and changed the inline filter again along with the tank sock filter.filled it up with fresh gas and put a fuel pressure tester on it and drove around while a buddie watched but its all within specs 33lbs idle, 45lbs with no vacume on regulator and straight from the pump with no returnline it spikes low 70lbs. i also did a fuel pump volume test it overflowed a 1quart oil bottle in less than 30sec im not shure on the measurements but i think anything around a quart in 30 sec was good if i remember right.its also not throwing any codes?
dono if it matters but its a 96 s10 that has a 94 camaro ss engine and computer, any other details needed dont hesitate to ask i'll be checking this forum or u can emil me Jonathanmaples@ymail.com

change the ign coil..... az has them cheep...
i have cured a bunch of lack of power and misfire complaints with a coil swap....
examine the exterior of the coil for white powder residue... usually in a circular pattern near the external frame... this indicates the high voltage is leaking out instead of going to the plugs...

well i went down a list of common culprits for what i was experencing after i moved away from the fuel side of it i tried the ignition side new module and coil to no avail. so i started the old tap on the sensors with a wrench routine as soon as i tapped the maf sensor the truck stumbled so i shook the hell out of it and the truck died.. so as happy as i was to see something doing something i ran inside grabbed my volt ohm meter and tested the wires running to the maf sensor and good solid connection so i tested the maf sensor and thats were i got poop for readings i yanked it off and shot to my local parts store(the one thats overpriced and open on sunday) and grabbed one of the most expensive sensors i have ever bought,, for myself anyway. i got home and tested it and its back to wheelie mobile when it grabs thanks for the input guy never hurts to have a fresh coil i guess. maf sensors suck and why did it not throw a code??
