So nothin' new, eh? I'll have to renew my sub. You guys rock for your AMC effort, thanks for the paper on our little cars. Mine is a '74 Jav, that I'm putting a warmed over 360 into. Keep the AMC stuff comin, we appreciate it.  

I for one would be more appreciative as well as others that replied to Glad's "in need of" blog if he had either the smarts or the class to reply. I don't read the rag regularly- so he can't assume that if his answer came out in an editorial between December and now that everyone would know. I never understood one way blogs. Maybe he found a  200 dollar 401 in the wrecking yard or has decided to stroke and bore a 360- though a 343 block or service replacement block are the ways to do so and ensure that there will still be enough structural integrity to stay alive after boring the block so much. Dunno though- the boy is a mute- as far as this forum is concerned. Silly, really.
