I have never used synthetic trans fluid in any of my transmissions only conventional and never had any problems on the street or racing and I recomend valvoline ATF.But www.summitracing.com carries b&m full synthetic trans. fluid.

Use it! Amsoil is second to none. If your not using a rebuilt or new converter drain the old one overnight in a 5 gallon pail and blow out the cooler lines to remove any residual fluid.

With synthetic oils ability to better withstand heat I use it everywhere in the Vega -Mobil-1 in the engine,B&M in the trans.,Valvoline in the rear end,and I can't remember the maker of the brake fluid.
With the stronger film strength, better heat resistance I just think it is good insurance, but I don't use it for my daily drivers due to cost.

I have found that in Daily Drivers it can improve mileage from 2-3 mpg in the engine and the same in the trany . That with the cut down in wear, unless I have a leaker, I put Synthetic in everything.

I use Valvoline Durablend 10/40 in my rebuilt motor. It has 85,000 hard run miles and it is still clean under valve covers and in lifter valley under intake, and i get 18.6 miles per gallon on interstate with 305 sbc with 3 speed 350 turbo and 2.29 rear ratio. I am using qjet carb. Synthetic blend is my choice for good,as full synthetic blends are much more expensive.
