Hello everyone,

Here's the story...I own a 1973 Firebird, it is still all original, with what i've been told is a Pontiac 350, and from what I can tell it has a Trans Am interior, but i don't think its a T/A Bird. Kinda curious how to tell for sure, and how unique is this motor to the firebirds and how unique in general. Next problem is trying to find body parts and things like that for it. All the mags I look at go to the year 1972 and then jump to 1974. Was wondering if this is correct and which year parts work best on the 1973. The body is in pretty fair condition, runs very strong with auto tranny, haven't hit the last gear at 100 mph 160 mph speedo), and the front end needs some attention (pretty loose). All responses, help, and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

'73 was the last year for the flat face front end. In '74 all the F-bodies had the new slanted front ends.

I believe Year One also has body parts for the '73 Firebirds.
