It has been awhile since Dynacorn has released their '69 repo body shells. It looks like Year One has started producing them too. Well, I have scoured the Internet and I cannot find any projects using said shells.

Does anyone know of any builds? The only thing I can find are old posts ('05 - '06). Some of the posts say that there are fitment issues and others say that the shells are built well. But I want some updated info!

It seems that a magazine should have done an article on such a build. Hell, maybe they have and I am oblivious.

Can anyone help me out?

The Dynacorn buildup was covered heavily by Hot Rod, then also Super Chevy.  Builders of these cars are:
Classic Automotive Restoration, Bellews NC Jim Barber
Automotive Restoration Specialists, CA, Sal Perez

You can find these companies, and some of the magazines featuring the build-ups, at Keisler Engineering's website www.keislerauto.com Go to the magazine features section and look for the Hot Rod Magazine cover saying "This Changes It All"

Go to Keisler's installers page and you can get the contact info for these shops.  The best thing to do is talk to these men listed.

I understand the crate camaros are offered as a completely welded shell to complete turnkey.  I *think* prices are around 50K for a small block hardtop.

Good Luck!

I am not surprised that the Camaro body is being produced. It just seems natural , and you don't have to worry about cutting up a cherry car.

Awesome. Thanks for the info.

Here are the links I found based on what you mentioned:

Now I wonder how smog works in CA for these things. I called AMC and they didn't know...

Hmm...
