I had this motor bulit for me

http://www.carcraft.com/techarticles/440hp_vortec_small_block/index.html

and am racing it on a 1/4 paved oval. I am running approx. 6000 rpm's.
My question is what should I set the timing at for maximum power. I was told 32 degrees.
ALSO; What should I set the plug gap at.
Thank you

32-38 degrees is what vortec heads seem to like......need to know what you run for ignition to tell you plug gaps

This would be the exact ignition I am running. You will have to copy & Paste into a new browser.
