I was wondering if the Car Craft decal they put in the Nova's window is available? I don't see them on the website for sale. Thanks for the info, fellow gearheads.

Unless you worry about copyright infringement, you could always make your own down at FedEx-Kinkos. Twenty years ago, I saw the world's most clapped-out, oil smoking, jacked-on-shackles-and-air-shocks AMC Gremlin sporting a "Car Craft" front licence plate that I strongly suspected was homemade.  You just can't stop American ingenuity.

Personally, I think they ought to GIVE YOU A CC STICKER with the mag.

If its not TURBOCHARGED, you're not finished yet . . . .

We give stickers out to readers who show up at events and participate. Simple.

I didn't get a sticker from CC on the Power Tour . . .

Oh wait, that wasn't your corner of the vast Primedia empire.  Never mind.

OK you have to actually find one of us and ask for a sticker, and we have to have one on us. Everyone on the Anti Tour got a tee shirt (that didn't fit) and a sticker. Look for Car Craft guys at the Nationals this year.

I have been a subscriber since I was about 14 !

I haven't gotten one in all that time. The Car Craft Nats I did go to in Syracuse a number of years ago I had to buy my own cardboard plate and Car Craft hat !  Samething for the Nats I went to in Buffalo a few years ago.

Would be nice to send one out in a wrapped special issue...Can you say FREE ADVERTISING !?

What's even better, is that CC would obtain even more newsstand sales that month because of all the readers who; (a) would want a decal for both sides of their ride,  (b) hardcore magazine collectors who wouldn't want to bust open the shrinkwrap on their pristine first copies so to preserve their "value," and (c) cheapskates who would be forced to buy a copy instead of grazing at the magazine rack.

I think it's cool to have to earn your stickers. I punished the old sled pretty hard to get mine. I am rather proud to fly the stickers and know that I participated in a group event with the CC folks.

Oh, and my "XL" shirt fits my "L" chassis pretty good too!!!

Thanks again to the good people at the magazine.

If you wan't a true car craft style sticker, rip off a 5" strip of duct tape and freakin write car craft on it other wise don't be cheap and have one made at a sticker shop!

P.S. Why in the hell is everyone writing "if its not TURBOCHARGED your not finished yet?  after reading the recent postings its really starting to piss me off!!!

Dude, "If it's not turbocharged . . . [etc., etc.]"  is my automatic signature. You can turn it off in the settings menu.

NOTE THAT I HAVE BEEN CAMPAIGNING OVER TWO YEARS FOR A B-I-G BLOCK TURBO BUILD- UP in either CC or HRM!

I like the duct-tape sticker idea. A lot easier than driving to St. Paul, MN and mooching one from a power-crazed CC staffer.

If its not TURBOCHARGED, you're not finished yet . . . .

The Car Craft stickers are cool, no doubt.  However, every time I get together with the Car Craft folks, something new on my car breaks...
