Ok I have a 1982 GMC, It has a 350 motor in it and I am not sure what transit has, new from the factory it had a 305 but that was changed to the 350 a LONG time ago, 351,487 miles ago to be exact.

Now I want to pull the current 350 and build a replica 350 of Car Craft's battle of the titans motor (ran sometime last year) I need to know; How nice of a daily driver would this motor make?

Also I want to rebuild My trany.......I want to keep it automatic, is there a transmisson out there that would be good for that kind of engine setup?
