It's a hoot! Gotta redo the motor after I broke a few valve springs and the oil pump pickup fell off.. DOH! It'll be running this month with a hotter cam and less care about the tires.

PAW carries Offy 4 bbl intakes and cams, as well as a header, I think. A holly 450-500 cfm would work great. Worked an old AMC 258 to 305 ci, stuffed in the biggest cam I could find, V-8 valves, milled and ported the head, and it was a great engine! idles and sounded dead stock, but would tear your head off when you stood in it.

firtst- what ever i relized my mistake after i posted i thought you said mazda ok. Next you have puss of a car i know what kind of car you have and ya it might be time wise fast but i bet you if you took the 327 in my truck and put it in to a 66 nova it would beat the daylights out of yours. My truck runs low 15's with an all motor small block in a truck that waighs near 5000 lbs. i bet you you run at a alltitude thas lower than where i run. I race in colorado, and it takes a real tuner to tune a car or truck here ok!

There are a few "import guys" that aren't half bad. Like one of my best friends is a Honda fanboy, but he knows his ####. First ricer I ever met that knows what hes talking about, and he doesn't buy into the big-spoiler and fart can crap. He believes in modding for performance, I was gonna help him put a 2.0 VTEC in his 92 Civic but someone ran into his lane and hit him head on this summer. But the thing with this guy is, he respects American cars, and knows what real performance is. And after meeting me, now I think he likes American cars better, I caught him looking at Mustangs the other day and he goes to cruise nights with me all the time to look at the muscle.
But on the other side of the spectrum, we have the people that I refer to when I say ricer. The know-nothing #### morons with 20 second cars that have every bit of visual flare you can think of and can't back #### up. My school is full of these people, they come in all shapes and sizes: Civics, Integras, Talons, ####, everything. Most of them couldn't tell you what an air/fuel ratio is or WHY nawwwwwz adds power. Most of them dont know didely #### about anything. And to top it all off, they ALL HAVE HUGE MOUTHS. All they do is talk #### about non-Jap cars despite knowing NOTHING. And they won't back it up either. There's this one dumbass I know with a Talon that thinks he's the hottest #### on the road. Bone stock Talon. He said something about how all V8s are worthless pieces of #### the other day while he was marveling at the sound of his fart can and the barely-there blowoff of his stock turbo, so I calmly said "ok, if you feel that way I'll give you 5 and the hit". He just stared at me blankly and walked away. It's these space-wasting nincomepoops that I hate, and it's them who I think most of you think of when you say ricer.

ON the subject of the 300zx this car was nothing more than a sad attempt at a buick grand national. Let me explaine the car just so happen to show up with Sequential fuel injection and turbo v6 that buick had been building for almost 10 years before the 300zx twin turbo showed up. Not only that your 87 GNX were capable of a mid 13s stock in a full body sedan where the 300zx was only 3200 pounds in a pill bug car and with add of twin turbos only doint what 80s grand nationals did. Whats technology the ablity to lower a car make it ligth as hell and go faster or the ablity to go bigger faster and cost less. ON that note its 2003 and the R34 skylines only turn with twin turbos a 13.8 sec time thats a very sad time for something that cost 80 grand. SVT mustang is doing 12s today for 35 thousand and the Ford ligthing is doing 13.5 stock in a full size truck and can tow a boat. AT no point in automotive history has imports in have contributed to the advancement of the automobile. All they did at most was pull a henry ford and streamed line the production process a tweak slight better but easy with third world labor and americans want work all day for dollar yet.

Well someone has to profit from kids willing to spend 80 grand to fix up a civic. Anyone stupid enough to think a front clip that looks like a two dollar hooker with lip lock will make a car faster realy should be padding my wallat not someone elses. Oh thats right they already do my bad.

Well there isnt no such thing as technology only tech comes in the form of fuel injection. There is only two ways to make hp from a piston engine one is to increase the surface area of the piston second is to increase compression or force down on the piston. If you ever follow the import drags there cars under NHRA rules are give diffrent rules in there classes such as there alowed to run twin power adders and lighter cars than in domestic nhra rules. This for alot of us was first seen in the Buick Grand nationals what were given weight reductions for running smaller displacment engines. Is there technology NO only the ablity to reduce friection and drag on the engine and cars. Rotary must be mentioned here but reason why they dont float is cuase they dont produce the torque and eat more gas that most old school big block v8s and have been around since the 50s .

No not jobs *** man you spend they send back to their homelands. Dont kid youreself buying un American affects America wake up. Why do hondas and toyotas last BECOUSE SPEED KILLS! But those sorry imports guys well some of them are hotrodders just like us but they havent got class,they have style just not good style.

How can You ppl do this? if U want a RACE car, or a all out NICE car, go with a Muscle / American made car. If u want a Family car or a Loud annoying car, go with a Import!
My friend has a 88 Acura, not much, and my 488hp Formula. He spent OVER $4,000 on his car, and I would STILL beat him and we did not put more then $2,000 in this car. It is pathetic! Why waste cash like that! I like the drive to school, some times ill bring the Charger, and I will pull up to a light and there is a little Integra giving his car gas, sounds like bees, I donty even look over, I just pull the little knob and open up the Headers, and I gun it at the light, and I kill them. I have raced like that MANY times. People ask, " Do you have A Header ? " What a fokin Moron! A Header! as in ONE! i say, they wana see if I run "nos" or a "turbo" under the hood after the race. Most of them do not even know what a 440 is! I said a V8 and one guy Really said " what is that " He did not know that there is a v8! That is just sad!
Nothing beats a nice drive in a sweet sounding American V8 Muscle car... You CANNOT beat it. So go ahead, and buy a damn Import, and add $6,000 or more in it and HOPE u can run 10's... Or go buy a Camaro with a 396 in it, add $1,000 in it and you can!
